One of the biggest fashion shows, Fashion's Night Out, will be taking place at the Lincoln Center in New York City on September 10th this fall. This event features over 200 models and over 1,500 invitees.
If you weren't invited, tickets go on sale later this summer and the proceeds from the sale will help benefit The New York City AIDS fund. If you can't make the event in person (like yours truly), this year's even will be broadcast on CBS in a one-hour fashion special on September 15th (set a reminder to set your DVRs).

Fashion's Night Out was started last year by Anna Wintour, the most powerful woman in fashion (and otherwise known as the "Devil" from The Devil Wears Prada
). Its objective was to save help boost the industry and the economy from the recession: stores stayed open for a few more hours and people got to meet-and-greet celebrities and designers alike.
