M.A.C. Viva Glam

M.A.C. regularly runs celebrity endorsed charity campaigns where our favorite celebrities design their favorite color palettes with proceeds from the sale going to a spotlighted charity.  The campaign attracts high visibility and helps draw crowds to its brand.  It's a win-win all around- makeup lovers get to own a piece of their favorite celebrity while being charitable. The latest campaign comes from Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper with proceeds goign to the HIV/AIDS foundation.

Established in 1994 to support men, women and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS globally, VIVA GLAM I, II, III, IV, V and VI, were launched as continuous shades and have achieved tremendous success over the years. Spring 2010 sees two new VIVA GLAM shades introduced as limited life for 12 months on counter. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the sensational Cyndi Lauper and the electric Lady Gaga! (M.A.C website)

Gaga's shade-- nude is the new shade for Spring and this lipsticks looks good enough for great everyday wear.  It's also "signed" by Lady Gaga (nice touch!).  Unfortunately, though unsurprisingly, it's been sold-out... better scour the local M.A.C. stores to see if there are any quantities remaining!

If you want a piece of Gaga, you can also check out her two albums:
